Hazel Grouse – Wings

This is my most known product serie! There is nobody else in the world (to my knowledge,) who can provide material from Hazel Grouse. The wings have very pleasing colours and markings, and in short, can be used for everything in fly-tying.

Hazel Grouse – Tail feathers

They look virtually the same on both cock and hen. Wet-flies, nymphs and pupae can be made from these.

Hazel Grouse – Saddle feathers

These are long-stemmed feathers with much fibers above the stem. They are speckled in black in an interesting fashion.

Hazel Grouse – Breast feathers

In my most popular fly-series there is a fly called ”Järpflugan”. Its wings are made of the Hazel grouse’s breastfeathers. This Caddisfly imitation becomes a natural look-alike of its real model. It is also suitable for imitating diving Caddis-flies.

Black Grouse Hen – Breast feathers

In these feathers you vill find material for legs and hackle for wet-flies, nymphs and hatcher. Of course it will also fit as wings for Caddisflies, and may be best suited for this.

Black Grouse Hen – Tail feathers

If you tie many classical wet-flies this material is a must ! Rudimentary wings on Caddisfly pupae can be imitated with these tail quills.

Black Grouse Cock – Breast feathers

This feather is well suited for Caddisfly wings ! Their only drawback is that they are black, which may limit them a bit. From an angle the feather has a shimmer of blue.

Black Grouse Cock – Tail feathers

I sell only tail feathers from young Black Grouse cocks to fly tyers. All others are advance ordered by the Austrians. The white feathers from the lower rump are suitable for the wings for different dry-flies, and the black ones for wet-flies. The oldest Black Grouse cock tails are much more expensive than the youngest, and are in the most perfect shape of al. The best ones in whole Europe.

Capercaillie Hen – Breast feathers

A northern Swedish equivalence to the feather for the fly Europea 12. A breastfeather which has almost the same qualities as a Duck’s. It does not, however, bend as nicely around the hook as a Duck’s does. Colour is light brown, and the feathers are even in size. The favourite material for the Caddisfly ! (Trichoptera )

Capercaillie Hen – Tail feathers

This product is in my opinion even more interesting than the equivalent from the Capercaillie Cock. Colour is better, for the reason that mixes of brown, black and white colours are dominant in the world of insects, compared to black only. A real must for the Fly-Tie’r who does entomological imitations! For Caddisfly pupae, nymphs, a.o. Of course i sell complete hen tail feathers to. And complete tails, with every each tailfeather attached. In this pack, there is 4 separate feathers.

Capercaillie Cock (Wood Grouse) Neck

I can promise that this material is not awailable by any other dealer! The neck of the wood grouse is cut loose from the beak to below the neck. Here you will have feathers for the smallest of flies. The neck feathers are especially weel suited for wet-flies, such as the ”Spider”. A truly fantastic material!

Capercaillie Cock – Tail feathers

The tail feathers are perhaps best for wet-fly wings, and also for large stoneflies. (Plecoptera) Colour is always black with small, uneven spots of white. The single fibers are nearly as long as those of the Turkey. And just as with the hen tail feathers i of course sell complete cock tail feathers to. And complete tails, with every each tailfeather attached. In this pack, there is 4 separate feathers. I have complete tails from both young and old Capercaillie cocks in stock.
